All finalists have now secured their passes for the Finale at Sibos.

News, Innotribe

For the 2015 Startup Challenge, Innotribe received close to 370 applications from early-stage and growth-stage startups hailing from all over the world. Over 500 judges assessed these companies on their ability to provide significant innovation in the future of the financial industry. They ultimately narrowed down the number of candidates to this year's 60 semi-finalists.

On 18 June, 15 semi-finalists came to New York to pitch their innovative ideas during Next Bank USA, a 2 day conference run in partnership with Bank Innovators Council. The event offered to participants a series of keynotes, panels, and workshops on what matters in banking these days: transformation, design, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

After the successful showcases in London, Cape Town, and Singapore, New York was the last regional showcase to be held in 2015. The event was sponsored by Deutsche Bank, HP, IBM, Invest Northern Ireland, Level39, Luxembourg for Finance, and Wells Fargo.

Final step to this year's Innotribe Startup Challenge programme will be the Finale at Sibos, on 14 October in Singapore. Whilst the 12 early-stage startups selected during the regional showcases will pitch on stage and compete for a 50,000 USD cash prize, the 8 growth-stage startups will get their own exhibition booth on the Innotribe stand to demo their product. The list of 20 finalists is accessible here.
