On 18 July 2024, Swift experienced an operational incident delaying the processing of services that we provide to some customers including market infrastructures. This incident was not cyber-related, and our technical teams have successfully restored impacted services. We are in contact with our customers to support them in mitigating the adverse consequences on their operations and in turn on their own customers’ transactions. Swift takes any operational incident extremely seriously, is conducting a full investigation and apologizes for the disruption caused. This incident is not connected in any way to global IT issues with third-parties that have been reported by companies on 19 July 2024.
