Your payments are fast. But are they G20 fast?

The G20 has set a target of 75% of cross-border payments reaching the end beneficiary in under an hour by 2027. The Swift community is well on its way to meeting this goal, but there’s still work to do. In A shared vision: How can payment providers meet the G20 goals? (Tues. at 15:00; in person and digital), we’ll deep dive into how the industry is progressing towards the G20 goals, what more needs to be done, and how we can get there together.

And are you giving your consumer and SME customers the international payments experience they’re looking for? We have a number of sessions designed to make sure you’re well equipped to meet the needs of this fast-growing segment. Plus join our expert panel in What’s next for low-value cross-border payments (Mon. at 13:00; in person and digital) for a glimpse of how this space is fast evolving.

From pre-validating payments before they’re sent, to efficiently handling enquiries and investigations, our Swift sessions will you show you how you can remove friction and provide an instant end-to-end payments experience.

To make sure you’re fully versed on all the opportunities, we’ll walk you through the ABCs (and Ds!) of trending technologies. From AI and APIs, to blockchain, central bank digital currencies, digital assets and much more.

Don’t miss CBDCs: Forging a path to global interoperability (Tues. at 11:00; in person and digital) and Blazing the trail towards an interconnected, tokenised world (Wed. at 11:00; in person and digital), where we’ll share the latest results of our ground-breaking collaborative experiments to enable seamless interoperability across different forms of value and systems.

And of course, Swift Innotribe is back with amazing line up of thought leaders and must-see sessions you won’t want to miss.

All things ISO 20022 at the Standards Forum

Adoption of ISO 20022 across the payments industry is in full swing since the start of migration in March this year. But how can you make the most of the opportunities opened up by its rich and structured data?

This will be a key theme across the Standards Forum, with tips and testimonials throughout the week from early adopters and Swift specialists. Let us help you make your adoption journey a success so you can already start realising the many benefits ISO 20022 offers you and your customers.

We’ll also look at what’s next on the ISO 20022 adoption path. Not just the new innovations it enables for payments, but also how the securities industry is looking at the topic and what might be next.

Fighting financial crime, together

In the global fight against financial crime, global collaboration is essential. In Widening the lens: Industry collaboration in the fight against financial crime (Tues. at 13:30; in person and digital), hear from leading experts about why it’s essential to work together as an industry to build processes, share data and collectively fight against the rise of financial crime.

And as payments become faster, being able to efficiently detect anomalies becomes all the more important as well. In Detect anomalies in payment transactions, with AI and network data (Tues. at 15:00; in person only), we’ll show you how AI and Swift network-wide data can unlock cost-saving efficiencies for your organisation.
