Watch video highlights from AFP 2018 to hear how Swift GPI delivers the tools and data corporates need to automate their payments operations
A year is a long time in payments. When the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) last held their annual conference in October 2017, the benefits of Swift GPI were only just filtering through to banks’ corporate customers. But with over 100 of the globe’s largest banks now live on the platform – and corporates now live with multi-bank tracking on gpi – treasurers were visibly energised at AFP 2018 by the myriad of opportunities that Swift GPI can offer their payment operations.
The event – which attracted over 7,000 corporate treasury practitioners and finance professionals from around the world to Chicago in early November – was dominated by talk of payments innovation, with Swift GPI a key topic of discussion. In the main conference, AFP sessions explored how treasurers can take advantage of new technologies in payments strategy and in corporate-bank communications. Swift also held dedicated sessions on its stand, where both corporates and banks talked about how companies can fully take advantage of gpi.
In the first of our highlight videos below, Lisa Wagner, Group Manager at Microsoft explains how the company has integrated Swift GPI tracking and added transparency details into their payment dashboards.
And hear from Rene Schuurman, Global Product Manager - Channel Services at Citi about how the bank is already transforming its corporate cross-border payment experience by integrating gpi in their customer channels.
