Swift Compatible Interface Programme

How to apply

Registration process

First, please read carefully the programme overview:
Swift Compatible Interface Programme Overview

Next, send an email to the address below, with brief details of your organisation and the interface you wish to validate as compatible interface: SwiftNet.CBT.Qualification@swift.com
We will reply within 10 working days.

Complete and return the Swift Compatible Interface e-form and pay the related compliance validation fee.

Protocol compliance validation

You will receive a conformance questionnaire and test specifications for the selected protocol compatibility validation, together with a conformance test appointment.

The scope of the Swift Compatible Interface Programme is limited to the functional requirements that Swift specifically describes in the specification documents published Swift. To be designated Swift compatible, a product must meet all of the mandatory requirements and any of the optional requirements that the supplier intends to support.

The scope of the protocol testing for Swift compatibility excludes resilience, performance testing, and value added features.

Run the conformance tests with Swift during the agreed test execution window. Once the initial protocol conformance testing is satisfactorily completed, you will receive an interim (protocol) compatibility validation for your interface.

Once the interface is successfully implemented and tested at a customer site and a confirmation report has been completed and reviewed, you will receive the (protocol) compatibility validation for your interface.

Security compliance validation

All interfaces must also comply with the Security Conformance Requirements built from the Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF). The Security Conformance Requirements contains the controls that are applicable (mandatory or advisory) to interfaces and needs to be completed every year.

Once you have satisfactorily completed the self-attestation for all controls in the document, you will receive an interim (security) compatibility validation for your interface.

Once one or your customers has completed the customer confirmation for all controls in the document you will receive the (security) compatibility validation for your interface.

Customer confirmation of the vendor self-attestation can be achieved either after the installation of the product, by demo, or any other means that enables the customer to evaluate correctness of the vendor self-attestation.
