Common Global Implementation

By bringing the financial community together, we are playing an active role in shaping market practice, defining standards and exploring solutions to issues of mutual interest.

As such, we are supporting the CGI initiative through active participation in the ongoing work programme and the publication of CGI documents. Our goal is to increase visibility and encourage adoption of the outputs of the CGI Plenary and its Work Groups.

In particular, our role includes:

• Providing a central point for maintaining CGI Plenary and Work Group membership and distribution lists.
• Providing a central document repository and hosting for all CGI Plenary and Work Group documents.
• Preparing documentation that builds on and enhances the CGI harmonised message implementation templates.

We also promote the work of the CGI initiative in order to increase awareness and encourage adoption within the broader banking and corporate community. This is achieved through press releases and coverage during conferences, seminars, industry web pages and other means.

As well as supporting the CGI initiative, we participate in the initiative as an active contributing member.
