We continually work to keep our existing standards up to date, in order to bring standards in line with business changes and correct technical issues. From time to time, we also publish newly developed standards. These changes can affect your business, from business flows to back office applications.
Schedule for Standards MT Release 2022
This timeline gives a full development and implementation schedule for the FIN standards for 2022.
Please note that in the MT Payments domain, no change requests were received as traffic for cross-border and correspondent banking will move from Swift MTs to ISO 20022 starting November 2022 till November 2025, using usage guidelines provided by the Cross-border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) group of experts.

Schedule for FINplus Standards Release 2022
This timeline gives standards information linked to FINplus the Swift core, store-and-forward, message-processing service. It will provide financial institutions with the necessary environment to exchange the richer ISO 20022 format messages as MX message on SwiftNet. This includes currently a selection of ISO 20022 base message definitions for FINplus for Securities, CBPR+ usage guidelines, etc. with message details available in MyStandards.
