When ordering Alliance Lite, you automatically apply to become a SWIFT member and have access to SWIFT's global community of more than 10,000 banking organisations, securities institutions and corporate customers.
SWIFT recently announced that it will introduce Alliance Lite2 later in 2012. Expanding the capabilities of Alliance Lite, this new, ‘cloud-based’ SWIFT connectivity will support much higher message volumes, all SWIFT message formats (MT and MX) and standards, and more automation possibilities, at a different price than Alliance Lite.
In the meantime, you can continue to choose Alliance Lite as a fast, easy SWIFT connectivity. Alliance Lite will continue to be fully supported by SWIFT, both now and after Alliance Lite2 becomes available. If you are already an Alliance Lite customer, you can continue to use it without changes, or you can choose to upgrade to Alliance Lite2 at any time.
