Swift Director since 2023. Giacinto joined UBS in 1997 as a business apprentice. Following several roles within most divisions of the firm across both the business and technology, he moved on to hold various global management and delivery roles in UBS’s Investment Bank eCommerce Client Support and Executive Services area before becoming Head of IT Account Management for Investment Platforms and Services (IPS) in 2014. Giacinto was appointed Head of the GWM / P&C IT Account Management in 2015 while also taking over the responsibility for IPS, Global Financial Intermediaries (GFIM) and GWM Chief Investment Officer (CIO) accounts.

From 2019 to 2020, he was responsible for the CDIO P&C and GWM S&I Technology EMEA organization. In May 2020, Giacinto assumed the role of Head of Technology for Privates & Corporates and UBS Region Switzerland and the responsibilities for UBS’s Digital Factory. In June 2021, he added the role of Head of Development for Wealth Management and UBS Switzerland to his portfolio. On top of his other duties, Giacinto has held the role of Head of the Regional IT Switzerland / EMEA Board since 2019. He assumed his most recent role as Chief Business Officer in CDIO P&C and GWM S&I in August 2022, where he is responsible for 950 employees in the areas of Operating Management, Risk, Strategy, Chief of Staff, F2B Initiative Management as well as Shared Services Operations.
