Stop and Recall on Financial Institution Transfer - Early Adopter Phase

When the Stop and Recall (SRP) service has been originally introduced, only Customer Credit Transfer (CCT) payments were traceable in the Tracker. It subsequently made sense to solely propose the SRP service on CCT payments.

However, in 2020, the gFIT service has been launched as a new Swift GPI capability. The latter enables Swift GPI customers, with a 004 entry in the gpi Directory, to trace and update Financial Institution Transfer (FIT) payments in the Tracker.

This pilot phase aims to further expand the SRP capabilities to the FIT payments to enable the FIT community to rely on the power of the Swift GPI Tracker and the SRP functionalities to rapidly request the halting of FIT payments and recall the funds back to the FIT sender.
