Terminate your Sanctions Screening subscription

The customer must always notify SWIFT in advance of its intention to terminate SWIFT services and products (typically, three months or, in case of termination of a service administration agreement, 12 months). The termination rules are detailed in the Pricing and Invoicing terms and conditions.

Understanding the ordering process

  • Your subscription fee contract will only be closed if your BIC8 is no longer registered on any Sanction Screening option.

  • Sanctions administrators will only be deleted if your BIC8 is no longer registered on any Sanction Screening option.

  • When migrating from one Connector option to the other, first order the new connector option before terminating the existing one to allow a smooth transition.

Connector for Sanctions based on IPLA

Terminate Sanctions Screening Connector option

Use this form, with the “Terminate Connector only” option if you want to:

  • Migrate from the IPLA based Connector for Sanctions to the SIL based Connector for Sanctions.

  • Terminate your subscription from Sanctions Screening Connector option and you connect via a shared infrastructure.

  • Terminate your subscription from Sanctions Screening Connector option and you connect via your own infrastructure and the Connector for Sanctions is still used by other BICs subscribed to Sanctions Screening.

Use this form, with the “Terminate Connector and service” option if you want to:

  • Terminate your subscription from Sanctions Screening Connector option and you connect via your own infrastructure and this is the only or last BIC using the Connector for Sanctions – you will have to submit the “Terminate Connector for Sanctions form” separately.

Terminate Connector for Sanctions contract

Use this form to terminate the Connector for Sanctions on IPLA contract, when no BICs are using the Connector for Sanctions anymore (shared or own infra).

Connector for Sanctions based on SIL

Use this form, with the “Terminate Connector only” option, if you want to migrate from the SIL based Connector for Sanctions to the IPLA based Connector for Sanctions.

Use this form, with the “Terminate Connector and service” option if you want to terminate your subscription from Sanctions Screening Connector option based on SIL.

When terminating Sanctions Screening Copy Option, subscription to both Test AND Live environments will be terminated for the selected BIC.

Connector for Sanctions based on Integration Platform (IPLA)

• The Sanctions Screening Connector Option comprises a Sanctions Screening service subscription and a software license (the Connector for Sanctions on Alliance Access). When terminating Sanctions Screening Connector Option, the Alliance Access owner needs to submit a separate termination form for its Connector for Sanctions contract.

• When terminating the Connector for Sanctions contract, a new Alliance Access license will be generated to remove the IPLA option in case this option is only used by the Connector for Sanctions software

Connector for Sanctions based on SWIFT Integration Layer (SIL)

Note: the IPLA based Connector for Sanctions is not available to Lite2 customers
