Release 7.2 is a major and mandatory software release for the SWIFT Alliance portfolio. It will upgrade your SWIFT infrastructure to 64-bit architecture, current operating systems and enabling higher performance. The release will support larger file transfers and provide key security features to further secure the SWIFT infrastructure at your premises.

Renewing the SWIFT Channel

We enable our global community of users to communicate securely, exchanging standardised financial messages in a reliable and robust way, thereby facilitating global and local financial flows, and supporting trade and commerce all around the world.

Release 7.2 is a major and mandatory software release for the SWIFT Alliance portfolio. It will upgrade your SWIFT infrastructure to 64-bit architecture, current operating systems and enabling higher performance. The release will support larger file transfers and provide key security features to further secure the SWIFT infrastructure at your premises. The release will be made available by the end of July 2017  and customers will need to upgrade by September 2018  to ensure that your SWIFT services remain unaffected.

A new HSM token model is being introduced with this release to replace the current HSM card and HSM token models, renewing the underlying technology.
