ISO 20022 testing: ensuring readiness for 2023
1 hour - [Multiple sessions available] Ensure readiness for ISO 20022 for CBPR+
Swift will now begin the ISO 20022/MT coexistence period for all users on 20 March 2023. Even if you’re not adopting ISO 20022 at this stage, you still need to ensure readiness. Not being ready could mean a break in the continuity of your business operations, with payment instructions coming from your correspondents that cannot be processed.
The key mandatory action is to upgrade your messaging interface, allowing you to receive a multi-format MX with embedded MT on your interface and back-office applications. We then invite you to test the receipt of this message generated by the In-flow Translation service on FINplus. Swift offers options to facilitate testing, including Test Sparring Partner. In preparing for live deployment, it’s also essential to validate and import the FINplus bootstrap file for the Relationship Management Application (RMA).
This Q&A session brings the chance to put questions to our experts and get support to complete your testing journey. Ahead of the event, we request that you watch a presentation recorded and available on MySwift, covering the revised timeline for ISO 20022 for CBPR+ and the testing environment.
This session will cover:
- Recap on recording covering revised timeline and support on testing
- Q&A session with our experts on readiness and testing
What's next?
Alongside booking your session, and if you have not yet begun testing, ahead of the event we request that you watch the related presentation ‘ISO 20022 testing: ensuring readiness for 2023’. This is recorded and available in the ‘Learn’ section on the ISO 20022 readiness page in MySwift.
