ISO 20022 Harmonisation is becoming an operational reality in the Payments space
This webinar provides an overview of the ISO 20022 Harmonisation framework, the operationalisation of its principles and their impact on the industry with a zoom on Payments
With the increasing interest in ISO 20022, more and more Financial Market Infrastructures are discussing or planning the implementation of the global messaging standard. In the light of the growing impact of these initiatives on Financial Institutions, the MI Summit - a group of 23 Financial Market Infrastructures in the Payments, Securities and Foreign Exchange space – and SWIFT started to discuss the harmonisation of ISO 20022 implementation and its usage back in 2014. In 2015, they published the ISO 20022 Harmonisation Charter which includes a set of best practice principles to reduce the fragmentation in ISO 20022 implementations and related cost inefficiencies in the industry.
This webinar aims to provide an overview of the ISO 20022 Harmonisation Programme, how the Harmonisation Charter principles are becoming an operational reality and how they will impact the Financial Institutions and Financial Market Infrastructures. This webinar will zoom in on the Payments space. Additional webinars with a focus on Securities will take place in Mid – December 2016.
The seminar will start on time. Please join at least 10 minutes before the starting time so that you don't miss valuable information.
