In 2018, Swift’s Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) services, Global Payment Initiative (Swift GPI) and Customer Security Programme (CSP) were all recognised for their contribution to financial services.
In the field of FCC, Swift was awarded for both its KYC and Compliance Analytics services at the Regulation Asia Awards at a ceremony in Singapore on 13 November. Swift’s compliance solutions have proven essential to its customers operating in today’s increasingly regulated financial markets.
In September, Swift was named Best Payments and Settlement Technology Provider at the Central Banking Awards, also held in Singapore, for gpi – its transformative new service which is dramatically improving the speed and transparency of cross-border payments.
To round off the hat trick of wins in 2018, at July’s Risk Awards in London, CSP won the cybersecurity product of the year – a major accolade in the area of risk management. Launched in 2016, CSP has helped Swift’s customers to successfully implement the practices critical to defend against, detect and recover from cyber-crime.
