ARC 2017 gathers almost 400 delegates from more than 45 countries in Abidjan to discuss regionalisation, the future of payments, cyber security and financial crime compliance
SWIFT’s 24th African Regional Conference focused on how Africa can develop from within. From regional cooperation to technological advancements, tackling cyber challenges to facing increasing financial crime compliance regulations, the three days looked at what is needed to support African growth.
Despite unrest on the ground and a challenging environment, almost 400 delegates from more than 45 countries joined us this year on 16-18 May in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. This year we introduced three themed days which focused on the most significant trends that the continent is facing: Regional Day, Future Day and Compliance and Cyber Day.
