Sharing the vision: Towards instant, frictionless transactions
As the financial industry’s neutral and trusted infrastructure provider, we help our community of over 11,000 institutions move value around the world reliably and securely. And as we have progressively expanded what we do, we have evolved how we deliver.
This session will outline how Swift’s exciting new strategy will help the industry take another leap forward – fundamentally transforming payments and securities processing to help the community navigate the complex challenges they face today and remain prepared well into the future.
Pat Antonacci, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Swift

Over the next two years and beyond, we’re evolving our capabilities to enable frictionless and instant payments and securities transactions from one account to another, anywhere in the world.
Join us this session and learn about Swifts platform evolution and how the introduction of a new transaction manager will bring together richer data from ISO 20022 to improve end-to-end efficiency and unlock bold opportunities for you and your customers.

Staying secure and resilient: Swift Customer Security Programme
Managing the evolving cyber threat
To help the community manage the continually evolving cyber threat, Swift annually publishes revised versions of the Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF). As of 2021, Swift requires attestations to be supported by an independent assessment.
This session will outline the key changes to the CSCF and independent assessment and help you understand the process, timeline, and resources available to support your attestation and utilise counterparty data as part of your cyber risk assessment. We will also offer KYC-SA users an opportunity to hear about recent enhancements.

Ruth Montgomery, Lead Security Management Specialist, Swift
Frank Versmessen, Head of Customer Security, Swift

The evolution of regional Payment Market Infrastructures
Swift supporting transformation
As the drive towards digitisation continues across APAC, we are seeing the emergence of ‘NextGen’ Payment Market Infrastructures and widespread adoption of the ISO 20022 standard, with the promise of richer and higher quality data. MI interlinkages, flexible connectivity options, non-bank access, APIs and overlay services are just some of the payment trends we are witnessing. These trends – coupled with innovation and experimentation involving blockchain technology/DLT and CBDCs – are creating a fast changing payments landscape, growing at more than 30% a year.
Join this session ‘in conversation’ and hear from the Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) on their recent PhilPass (RTGS) ISO 20022 migration and the benefits gained by the local community. We will also explore their digital transformation journey, how Swift supported them, and lessons learnt along the way.
Jay Dizon, Director, Payments & Settlements Department, Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP)
Jackie Farrow, Senior Director, Business Innovation, APAC, Swift

Target Services, ESMIG & ECMS update
Swift has been appointed as a Network Service Provider (NSP) for those wishing to access TARGET Services via the Eurosystem Single Market Infrastructure Gateway (ESMIG). This session will provide a status update on the latest milestones of the T2-T2S consolidation project and the migration of T2S and TIPS to the ESMIG framework and show how the new Eurosystem Collateral Management System (ECMS) complements the T2, T2S and TIPS TARGET Services.
We will also highlight how Eurosystem user banks can connect to ECMS via Swift’s solution for ESMIG and re-use their Swift ESMIG infrastructure for ECMS; and outline the key actions to be undertaken on project time line – ahead of ECMS planned ‘go live’ in November 2023.

Swift on Innovation
Collaborating to drive the industry forward
At Swift, we are working on a wide portfolio of innovation projects. But all our activities share a common aim: to create new products and services faster, with less risk. That’s why we centre our innovation work on three core streams: Product innovation, ecosystem development and technology exploration.
Join this session as we share some of the innovation projects we are currently working on to solve for industry challenges and enable simple adoption of our products and services. We will also outline how we are collaborating with the community to build the next generation of financial services.
