Jonathan Cox is Chief Corporate Officer at Swift, where he leads the organisation's global reputation, public affairs, industry policy engagement and ESG agenda. As a member of Swift's Executive leadership team, he plays a key role in strengthening stakeholder trust, shaping industry dialogue and advancing Swift's strategic priorities across the global financial ecosystem.

Since joining Swift in 2019, Jonathan has held a number of senior leadership roles. He has expanded Swift's global corporate affairs capability, led engagement with industry and public-sector stakeholders worldwide, and overseen Sibos, the financial industry's premier global conference. Most recently, he led go-to-market for Swift's first blockchain-based ledger and payments scheme, helping advance innovation in cross-border payments.

Prior to Swift, Jonathan built an international career across the professional services and technology sectors. He started his career as a journalist with Bloomberg News in Washington. Jonathan holds an MBA and a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
