Product Manager - Cash Clearing and Correspondent Banking (Global Transaction and Payment Services)

Graduated in Physical Engineering in Polytech’ Clermont-Ferrand, Sylvain DAUGE joined Societe Generale Group in 2002 after four years experience in a computer science consulting firm. 

He worked then 5 years as product owner and tests manager in cards payments and cheque (unpaid and business intelligence). 

In 2007, he became product manager of credit transfers, responsible for the upgrade of existing applications and processes to SEPA, the definition and updates of end-to-end credit transfers procedures, the change management and the organization stream for SEPA credit transfer and PSD implementation. 

In 2011, he joined the Interbank Relationship team of Global Transaction and Payments Services Business Unit, as senior adviser.

He was in charge of Societe Generale Group institutional relationship with Swift, EBA Clearing, Euro Banking Association and CLS.

He was French banking community member of CBPR+ and HVPS+, secretary of the French NMG Payments & Cash Reporting Working Group, co-convenor of the Banking Identifier Working Group at the French standardization body CFONB, convenor of the French NMG and NUG ISO 20022 standards implementation guidelines Working Group, Societe Generale Group representative in ISO 20022 Payments SEG, Eurosystem’s Target Consolidation Contact Group, STET’s CORE(FR) Financing auto-protection Steering Committee and Societe Generale Group and French banking community representative in EBA Clearing’s EURO1 and STEP2 Business Committees and Operational & Technical Committee. 

In 2023, he became product manager in Cash Clearing and Correspondent Banking Business Line of Global Transaction & Payment Services.

He has been working on the business side of the Eurosystem T2-T2S consolidation project, EBA Clearing’s EURO1 migration to ISO 20022 and is still part of Swift FIN migration project to ISO 20022.

He is in charge of CLS Nostro Agent offer, liquidity offers to bank customers and prospective studies on use of crypto-assets, stablecoins, CBDC and blockchain technology in Cash Clearing and Corresponding Banking services.

He is Societe Generale Group representative in ISO 20022 Payments SEG, French banking community member of CBPR+, HVPS+ and its Change Management Working Group, and represents the French community on the PMPG.
