Jo joined the Swift Board after three years as the Chair of the UK Swift Board and National Member Group and has served on several industry bodies over the years including BAFT Europe Council, the Bank of England Strategic Advisory Forum for RTGS / CHAPs, European Payments Council and the Financial Stability Board Taskforce. 

Jo has undertaken several leadership roles across Transaction Banking, and her career spans more than 20 years in financial services, with previous roles in HSBC and RBS. She joined Standard Chartered in December 2021 and holds the position of Managing Director, Head of Transaction Banking (TB) UK and Regional Head of Cash Product and Digital Channels UK & Europe covering both Corporate and Institutional clients. 

An avid leader of people; the business; product; and technology change, Jo is action-oriented with the ability to drive multi-faceted strategies in close collaboration with Clients, Technology, Operations, Vendors, and Risk teams.
 
Originally from Scotland, she lives in London with her 2 young children.
