Linda is responsible for the vision and the strategic direction of Transaction Banking at NMB Bank PLC. 

She joined NMB in 2016 as Head of Trade Finance Department with the responsibility of defining the strategic direction for Trade Finance; an integral trade and working capital solutions function at the bank.  For over 4 years, she has managed a complex product portfolio which addresses client financing requirements across segments, and she is the lead subject matter expert with a strong capacity to structure client centric solutions. 

In her role, Linda has been actively engaged in the growth trajectory of the Trade Finance business through financing of strategic government projects, a key contributor to Wholesale Banking non funded income.  She has also supported the bank’s gender diversity agenda as Chairperson of  Women Arise between 2018 & 2020 which has transitioned to NMB Balance, a broader diversity and inclusion network with financial inclusion and staff value priorities geared to sustain the bank’s position as a market leader and employer of choice.

Linda is results driven and a resourceful professional with over 20 years of experience in Banking and the Development Sector. She maintains various qualities of value to the marketplace and has proven success in leadership and business development. Linda holds an MBA in International Business from the India Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Namibia. 

She is married and blessed with two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys exploring Tanzania and beyond, reading as well as swimming.
