With over 15 years of experience across various business functions, Jack is currently serving as the head of Microsoft’s Research and Development Facility (Africa Development Centre).

Mr. Ngare previously served as the Managing Director at Equity Bank’s Finserve Africa, where he is lauded for Equitel and the Eazzy App, leading the bank’s innovations and technologies for two years as the General Manager.

Before joining Equity Group, he held senior positions as the Head of Information Security and IT operations at the then NIC bank, before which, he held different positions at Stanbic Bank as well as the British Telecom, with assignments in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Peru, and Japan.

Ngare holds two Master’s degrees in Management and Advanced Computer Science both from Harvard University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Leicester
