Stephen Wojciechowicz is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the financial services industry, specializing in international payments, cash management, risk management, and product development. With a career spanning over three decades, Stephen has consistently demonstrated leadership, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of global financial systems. 

Currently serving as the Co-Head of International Payment within Treasury Services at BNY Mellon, Stephen leads a global team in delivering high-quality cash management services to clients worldwide. He harmonizes efforts across internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain meaningful partnerships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. 

In his current role, Stephen aspires to further enhance BNY Mellon’s position as a leader in international payments by leveraging innovative services and fostering strong client relationships, propelled by the cultural transformation to the Agile framework under which the organization has recently embarked. He is committed to driving the sustainable growth and delivering value to clients through strategic initiatives, operational excellence and inclusive collaboration. 

Stephen’s industry experience is extensive and diverse. He has held leadership positions at reputable institutions such as Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Swift, where he contributed to product development, risk management, and market expansion efforts. His involvement in various industry committees and advisory groups underscores his commitment to driving positive change and innovation in the financial services sector. 

Throughout his career, Stephen has held several key roles, including Head of Cash Management Product Governance and Risk at Deutsche Bank, Market Manager for Institutional Cash Management at HSBC and Commercial Manager at Swift. His leadership and strategic insights have been instrumental in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and mitigating risks. 

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), demonstrating his expertise in cash management and payment systems. Additionally, Stephen actively contributes to industry organization and committees, including the CHIPS Business Committee and Payment Risk Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank. He has a steadfast dedication to nurturing the next generation of payments professionals with an ongoing commitment to teach annually at Nacha’s Payment Institute.
