Intesa Sanpaolo to use Swift's 3SKey to provide secured personal digital signatures and strong user authentication to its corporate clients
Brussels - 9 December 2015 - Swift announces that, Intesa Sanpaolo, one of the top banking groups in the euro zone, has signed up for 3SKey, a multi-bank and multi-channel solution for corporates to securely authenticate and approve operations using digital signatures and strong authentication. It provides a single token for Intesa Sanpaolo's corporates clients to communicate with the bank across all channels.
Intesa Sanpaolo actively supports SwiftNet connectivity for corporates and has successfully worked with a variety of corporate treasuries and payment factories to exchange financial information through Swift. The bank will now also extend its range of services in the Swift for Corporates portfolio of products for multi-banked corporates and offer 3SKey to its corporate customers.

3SKey enables corporate users to ‘sign' transactions with multiple banks using a single personal digital signature token. It can be used on any banking channels (Swift, proprietary/domestic networks and e-banking web portals), and allows corporates to securely log into online banking applications and sign financial transactions sent to their banks using a single signing device. The solution took-off in France in 2011, and has now expanded to more than 110 geographies, driven by the growing influence of regulation, and an increasing focus on security and fraud prevention. Today 3SKey is offered by 42 banking groups and service providers to over 7,000 corporates in 113 countries.
