Tomas Kindler has been Global Head Exchanges and a Member of the Executive Board of SIX since June 2025. He joined SIX in 2011 as Head x-clear and subsequently held different business management positions within the Securities Services and Exchanges business units.

Since June 2024, he has been Head Operating Office Exchanges with overall responsibility for business management, operations, and change across the exchanges of SIX. Before joining SIX, Tomas Kindler was managing director at Link Up Markets in Madrid, Spain, from 2008 to 2010.

Between 1999 and 2008 he held various positions at Deutsche Börse Group in strategic projects and marketing & sales. Tomas Kindler began his career as a consultant at Andersen Consulting.

The Swiss and German citizen holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Durham and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Hamburg University of Technology.
