Arthur “Artie” Ambrose is the Global Head of Services Operations at Citi where he leads ~22,000 staff in over 95 countries. In his role, Artie oversees all payments, liquidity, trade finance, custody, and fund administration operations. He focuses on integrating automation, digitization and AI across the organization to scale operations, enhance products and services, and improve clients’ experiences with Citi.

Artie is a seasoned cash management and broker dealer executive with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Prior to Citi, Artie was the Global Head of Treasury Services Operations at Goldman Sachs. Prior to that, he served as Goldman Sachs’ Chief Operating Officer for Global Operations, where he oversaw all firmwide operations across banking, markets, and asset and wealth management.
