Ensure that you have everything you need:
Test your connection and browser compatibility at https://cgs.na4.acrobat.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm
If this is the first time you attend a SWIFT Web Class, have a look at our 2-page "Getting Started" brochure.
For selected courses, printable handouts will be sent to you via e-mail on the day prior to the course.
The web class room only opens 30 minutes before the start of a session.
Please sign on no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, to ensure that we can start and complete the course in time for all participants:
1. Click on your personal sign-on link to enter your web class. Sign-on links are unique per participant and must not be transferred or shared.
2. When asked for authentication, type your e-mail address as supplied during your registration
3. Follow the on-screen instructions
Not sure if your internet connection is sufficient?
Attending a SWIFT web class requires a minimum of 50 kbits/s downstream and 6 kbits/s upstream bandwith. For courses that include screencasting, we recommend a minimum of 200 kbits/s down and 6 kbits/s up.
Ask your local IT support or ISP for assistance. To determine yourself your available bandwidth to a variety of online destinations, we recommend http://speedtest.net.
Sign-on or e-mail address not accepted? Error messages about sessions?
Ensure that the date and time are right. Verify whether the URL in your browser's address bar matches you personal link in this e-mail. When prompted to type your e-mail address, type it exactly as it appears in this e-mail, including any typos made at the time of your registration.
Sluggish screen refresh and audio drops out frequently?
These symptoms indicate an insufficient internet connection at your side. Contact your local helpdesk or ISP for assistance.
No sound at all?
Check all cables and volume settings. Don't forget the Windows task bar volume controls, and any volume sliders or mute buttons on your computer or headphones.
Are you still having difficulties getting in?
