This course is designed for all supervisors and staff who handle collections, cash letters and documentary credits as well as for business and IT analysts and programmers.

This two-day course provides detailed explanations and case studies on the following:
- Collections (MTs 400, 410, 412, 416, 420, 422, 430)
- Cash letters (MTs 450, 455, 456)
- Documentary credits (MTs 700, 701, 705, 707, 710, 711, 720, 721, 730, 732, 734, 740, 742, 747, 750, 752, 754, 756)
- Guarantees (MTs 760, 767, 768, 769)
- Where can you find information in the SWIFT standards to help you complete category 4 and 7 messages
- Advice on how you should formulate the related payment order (MT 202) to execute the transfer of funds
- How to create common group messages (MTs 791, 796)
Prior knowledge
It is an advantage to have a basic knowledge of SWIFT and an understanding of collections and documentary credits. We also recommend that participants are familiar with SWIFT payment messages. This knowledge can be acquired through the classroom course or eTraining package Payments and cash management — using FIN messages.

The course duration depends on the learning channel you choose:
- Classroom course: 2 days
- On-site training: as per your requirements
- SWIFT eTraining: 4 hours
