SEPA — using ISO 20022 messages

Updated 15 June 2009
Learning channels: Classroom course On-site training

By the end of 2010, citizens and companies in Europe will be able to make Euro payments anywhere within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) as easily as they make domestic payments. This migration includes adoption of mandatory XML-based payments standards and usage rules and it has a substantial impact on the financial institutions. This course is ideal to give you a good understanding about SEPA and what it means for your financial institution. In addition, this course will prepare you for the implementation of SEPA messages by using ISO 20022 messages according to the EPC implementation guidelines and the EPC rulebook. The course will also show how to use SEPA ‘R’-messages in the reject- or return scenario.
Are you ready for SEPA?

Audience

The session is targeted at business analysts and developers in the SEPA project team of your financial institution, and anyone who requires detailed message standard-oriented knowledge on SEPA ISO 20022 messages.
