ISO 20022 methodology and modelling
This advanced course complements our XML course family and is targeted at those institutions that will develop their own ISO 20022 messages. The course combines theory and a practical approach through exercises on the Standards Workstation. It explains the different concepts related to the ISO 20022 methodology and its implementation with modelling software.

Audience
This technical course is targeted at business analysts, project managers, developers of any institution that wishes to create its own ISO 20022 messages to submit to the ISO registration authority.

Prior knowledge
This course requires basic XML knowledge and/or a sound understanding of a specific business area (e.g. Exceptions and Investigations, Funds, SEPA, Trade Services Utility), which can be acquired through other SWIFT Training courses.
Duration
The course duration depends on the learning channel you choose:
- Classroom course: 3 days
- On-site training: as per your requirements
This course can be deliverd as an On-site training and customised to your needs, for instance:
- The practical (hands-on) part of the course is being done using IBM RSM
- The course can be reduced to the theoretical part (i.e. without any training on a modelling tool)
- The course can be extended to provide consultancy and be applied to a specific project of interest to the organisation requesting the course.
