This hands-on introductory course covers the operating aspects of Alliance Access and Entry. You will learn how to handle messages and maintain relationships in Alliance 7.0.

Audience

This course is designed for Alliance operators, supervisors and Security Officers.

You will learn how to

• Manually create messages on Alliance
• Create, verify, authorise and modify messages
• Make system queries and perform other day-to-day tasks
• Use your Alliance interface by listening to the instructor and by doing practical exercises
• Exchange authorisations with your correspondents
• Perform day-to-day tasks using the Relationship Management Application

• An introduction to Alliance Web Platform
• Manual message manipulation from creation to release
• Connection to the SWIFT network
• Relationship management
• Message searching and reporting
• Basic event journal inquiries
• Monitoring the system for general status inquiries

Prior knowledge

We recommend that you first attend the course Introducing FIN. A basic knowledge of Windows or experience with a Windows-based application is recommended.
