Where can I find the price and content of a course?

Click on ' Course schedule' in the drop-down menu, choose the course you would like to attend, in the country of your choice. Click on 'Search' and click then on 'Register'. On the next screen you will see the price of the course. All prices are mentioned in euro and do not include taxes. If you would like to get a detailed description of the course, click on the 'information'-icon in the second column of your search results.

What should I do if I cannot find the course that I'm looking for?

If you cannot find the course that you are looking for, the course may not available in your country of choice. Do a general search on the course title to see other locations where the course is available. To find the correct title of your course, you can take a look on the 'Training topics' pages, where courses are mentioned per business segment. Alternatively, you can contact us directly on swift.training@swift.com.

How can I register for courses?

Click on ' Course schedule' and choose the course you would like to attend, in the country of your choice. Click on 'Register', and complete this registration form. You will receive a confirmation of your registration via email within 24 hours.

How can I cancel my registration?

If you want to cancel your registration, you just need to click on the cancelation link that is included in the email you received to confirm your registration. If you cannot find this email anymore, please send an email to swift.training@swift.com indicating your name, the name, location and date of the course you would like to cancel.

What is the time period for cancellation without being charged?

If you cancel your registration of a classroom course at least one week prior to the date of the course, you will not be charged. If you cancel within a week before the course, you will be invoiced for the full price of the course.

How do I pay for the courses?

After attending a course, an invoice will be sent to your institution. There is no possibility to pay upfront.

Which hotels are near the course location? (Belgium only)

If you are attending a course in La Hulpe/Belgium, SWIFT Training can book a room for you in a hotel. Transportation is available in the morning from the hotel to SWIFT and back to the hotel after the course. Please contact Ms Isabelle Baland if you are interested in this service. For courses in other locations, please contact your travel agency.

Does SWIFT offer technology-based training products?

SWIFT offers e-learning modules. To see the offerings, click on ' SWIFT eTraining' and the whole portfolio will appear.

Why is there a difference between the price originally quoted and the amount that appears in the invoice?

SWIFT Training fees are expressed in EUR for all regions. For Asia and the Americas, invoicing will remain in USD and prices will be converted at the applicable spot rate. This explains the difference.

What is a SWIFT BIC?

The Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is a structured address that clearly identifies partners in financial transactions. It is used worldwide by financial institutions and SWIFT. It facilitates automated processing of telecommunication messages in banking and related environments.

The BIC consists of 8 characters e.g. SWHQ BE BB
  • bank code - 4 characters
  • country code - 2 characters
  • location code - 2 characters
Branch codes are not needed for course registrations.

How do I identify my institution's BIC Code?

SWIFT has designed a tool with all BIC's worldwide: the BIC Directory. The tool can be consulted through our website. You can search by country and bank name.

How can I register to the SWIFT Training newsletter?

If you are a registered swift.com user, you can subscribe through the ‘Manage your profile’ page.
Non-registered users can subscribe through the SWIFT newsletter registration page by providing name, e-mail and country.

How can I change my registration information to the SWIFT Training newsletter?

If you are a registered swift.com user, you can change this information through the ‘Manage your profile’ page.
Non-registered users should first unsubscribe through the link provided in the SWIFT Training newsletter and subscribe again using the correct information.

How can I unsubscribe from the SWIFT Training newsletter?

If you are a registered swift.com user, you can unsubscribe through the ‘Manage your profile’ page or use the 'Unsubscribe' link provided in the SWIFT Training newsletter.
Non-registered users can only unsubscribe using the 'Unsubscribe' link provided in the SWIFT Training newsletter.
