User profile enhancements

SMS incident notification now available for Premium Plus and Premium Custom customers

As previously announced, we are further enhancing the ‘Manage your profile’ application.

The new ‘user profile’, launched in August 2009, groups contact information into three tabs (Profile, Accesses, Notifications), allowing you to view and update your contact data with one single login.

We now have added the following new features:

  • Incident notification by sms: As a Premium Plus or Premium Custom customer, you can sign up to receive operational status notifications by sms. Simply register your mobile phone number in the Profile tab, and then click the sms option in the Notifications tab. In addition to our swift.com operational status and e-mail notification, this service is free of charge and offers you an additional channel for receiving incident notifications.
  • Newsletter subscription: Your user profile allows you to easily update your subscriptions to the SWIFT newsletters through the ‘Newsletters’ tab.  Previous subscriptions remain unchanged and are visible in your user profile.
