SWIFT.com offers additional security featuresNew security features allow you to better protect your personal informationPublished on November 4, 2009
Every company that is doing business over the internet faces a number of security threats. SWIFT is no exception. We therefore continuously enhance the security features of swift.com.
We now have introduced new functions to protect your personal information on swift.com:
- A login-seal to protect your login page
A login-seal is a private image or text that you can upload to swift.com and that is displayed on the login page. If you see the login-seal on the login page, then you are sure that it comes from swift.com and is not a phishing attack trying to get hold of your user-ID and password.
- A question and answer pair to protect your password reset
You now have the option to define a question and secret answer that will be used on the password reset screen. This prevents unauthorised persons who have obtained access to your mail account, to change your password.
- Last login time available to ensure proper usage of your account
Your user profile now contains the date and time of your last login. The user administrators of your organisation can check this information to ensure that accounts are properly used.
Swift.com administrators now have the possibility to generate a report that shows all swift.com administrators for your institution, worldwide. This report also shows the delegation of user administration for all your subsidiaries.
