On 29 October 2008, SWIFT launched the Configuration Browser; a new online service that allows you to view your configuration, license information and SWIFTNet service details through one single platform.

Easier management of your SWIFT infrastructure
With the Configuration Browser, you can access detailed information about your SWIFT infrastructure. Information includes hardware, software, configuration, and software licences.

The easy-to-use search function and drill-down options allow you to quickly access the information you need. You can display information for your own BIC and for any other BIC that is part of your hierarchy.

The Configuration Browser eases the overall management of your SWIFT infrastructure, especially if you have a large infrastructure or if your infrastructure is managed in a remote location. It also helps you in the preparation of your orders with SWIFT. Because you have all the information at hand, you no longer take the risk of submitting duplicate or incorrect orders.

You can find the Configuration Browser service on the Support section of www.swift.com. Access to the Configuration Browser is free of charge.

To use the application you must have the "Configuration Browser" service activated in your swift.com user profile. Make sure you update your swift.com user profile as described in the swift.com registration and administration user guide. Your swift.com administrator will then have to approve your change request.
