Update on Distributed ArchitectureRequired software available in March 2009Published on 17 December 2008 As previously announced, SWIFT implements a distributed architecture for SWIFT's messaging services. Our messaging services will be organised into two processing zones: the European zone and the Trans-Atlantic zone.
The implementation of the new messaging infrastructure will require an upgrade of your SWIFTNet Link and Alliance WebStations in 2009. As from March 2009, you will be able to download the required software from the Download Centre, or you can install the software from the DVD that SWIFT will ship to you in the second quarter of 2009.
Make sure you plan this activity in your 2009 SWIFT schedule. More information will be communicated on swift.com in due time.
