Standards MT Maintenance Release 2010

Schedule for Standards MT Maintenance Release 2010

This timeline gives a full development and implementation schedule for the FIN standards for 2010.

NOTE: There were plans to introduce two new messages to distribute standing settlement instructions (SSI) in Standards MT Release 2010. However, during recent consultations with the SWIFT community, users indicated that the messages are complex and the technical overhead of implementing the proposed end-to-end authentication model for the new messages is too large to be considered for SR 2010 deployment.

SWIFT has agreed to delay the introduction of the new SSI messaging solution for Standards MT Release 2011.

In order to enable all users sufficient time to prepare for the new solution, advance information is available and can be downloaded from here.
