September 2009 Update
The Release timeline provides planning information on the SWIFT portfolio.
This update contains a number of new products and releases as well as a number of updates to the previous edition of January 2009.
New: Mandatory upgrades
Mandatory upgrades are now clearly identified in the timeline by a and a description in red.
Highlights of the changes versus January 2009 edition
Changes are clearly marked in the timeline with a star.
New products
- Standards Developer Kit helps customers and partners implement SWIFT and ISO standards easily and efficiently using up-to-date technology. Availability September 2009.
- Corporate Actions MX solution will support the roll-out of the new ISO 20022 messages for corporate actions. This release is tentatively planned for November 2010.
New releases of existing products
- Release 7.0 of SWIFTNet and Alliance will lower total cost of ownership, ease operation and provide a number of new features. This release is now announced for June 2010 (Production) and December 2010 (General Distribution)
- Alliance Lite releases 2.0 and 3.0 are respectively announced / tentatively announced for January 2010 and 1st quarter 2011
- Alliance Integrator releases 2.0, 2.1 and 7.0 are respectively announced (2.0) and tentatively announced (2.1 and 7.0) for September 2009, 2nd Quarter 2010 and December 2010
- Standards Release 2010 scope is still being finalised. Live date: 20 November 2010
- STaQS 2.3 - bringing enhancements to Corporate Actions testing for market practice compliance - is available
- Accord 34.2 introduces – together with LTA 2.7 – the long term archival service for Accord for Securities and is planned for October 2009
- Derivatives 3.0 will cover FpML 4.6 notification messages. This release is tentatively planned for 3rd quarter 2010
- Funds 4.3 maintenance of Funds Processing Passport messages, is planned for April 2010
- Worker’s Remittance Directory identifies the participants to the service, their processing capabilities and their point of service. A second version is planned for November 2009.
