SWIFT Certified Experts certification overviewSWIFTReady service providers experts go through a stringent certification process. The purpose of this certification is to ensure that these subject-matter experts are capable of providing a quality service for the installation, integration, and upgrade of your mission critical SWIFT infrastructure. Renewed annually, certification by SWIFT establishes a full training programme and corresponding certification tests for the individual experts to ensure that service providers are knowledgeable about SWIFT products and solutions and provide a consistent level of quality service. SWIFT expertise certifications are structured into certification tracks. The graphic below summarises all the certification tracks and exams that experts must take to become certified by SWIFT. To be certified, an expert needs to pass all the exams within a given certification track, illustrated by the dark blue boxes. There are two types of SWIFT Certified Experts: technical experts and solutions experts. Technical expertsTechnical experts are SWIFTReady service provider experts who have successfully demonstrated to SWIFT specific knowledge of certain SWIFTNet infrastructure elements, for example, Alliance Access, technical integration of SWIFT's solutions, and a basic understanding of the SWIFTNet offering. SWIFT-certified technical experts are expected to be able to install, configure, integrate, upgrade and troubleshoot specific SWIFTNet infrastructure elements, such as Alliance Gateway or connectivity to SWIFTNet. Solutions expertsSolutions experts are SWIFTReady service provider experts who have successfully demonstrated to SWIFT sound knowledge of the business aspects of the implementation, integration, and upgrade of specific solutions, including their impact on the business processes of the customer, and a good understanding of the SWIFTNet offering. SWIFT-certified solutions experts are expected to be able to provide advice and guidance on the business aspects of the implementation, integration, and upgrade of specific solutions, including the implications of the coexistence of that solution with the subscription to other SWIFT services and products.
