The BIC Enquiry Tool (BET) is a desktop query tool designed to run on local copy of the BIC Directory, BICPlusIBAN and SEPA Routing Directory that you have downloaded from SWIFT's website. You can query any field (or combination of fields) of these files, as well as print or export the query results. The BET is free of charge to any subscriber of one of the downloadable directories and you can download it from the directories download page.

Apart from the generic query and search functions, the tool includes pre-defined queries that allow you to search for a BIC code, to find a BIC correspondening to an IBAN, to validate a BIC/IBAN combination or to look at the available payments channels to reach SEPA compliant financial institutions.
