XBRL - reaching a new horizon

The SWIFT Standards Repository: An implementer's view

SOA in action: Model Driven Message Interoperability Standards

This session introduces the new Model Driven Message Interoperability (MDMI) standard, which was developed by VISA, IBM, IP Commerce, Informatica and FireStar Software with support from SWIFT. This new specification directly addresses one of the five issues identified at the  2008 London Standards Forum meeting, that of using the modelling infrastructure of ISO 20022 to allow better tools, multiple syntaxes, and automated interoperability. 
Come and listen to the value proposition for how MDMI improves communications, helps reduce errors and provides a way to address future business issues.  The session will also provide a brief overview of MDMI, and introduce the MDMI Consortium, formed by the financial industry to prototype, prove and facilitate adoption of MDMI.
