The SWIFT Shared Infrastructure Programme defines eligibility criteria, roles and responsibilities, and legal, financial and operational requirements that service bureaux must comply with in order to deliver reliable SWIFT connectivity for their customers.

New requirements

New, stricter requirements for service bureaux is effective as of 2013. All service bureaux will have to comply with Minimum Operational Practice requirements by the end of 2013, and with even stricter Standard Operational Practice requirements by the end of 2015. To access detailed information about the new Shared Infrastructure Programme please refer to the new Shared Infrastructure documents on right side of the page.

Some service bureaux may choose to further distinguish themselves by achieving Premier Operational Practice certification. A Premier label is awarded to service bureaux that comply with the ‘Best in Class’ Premier Operational Practice requirements.
