In April 2009, SWIFT launched the Alliance Connect Bronze, Silver and Gold products. These new network connectivity products improve the service we provide to you while at the same time lowering your connectivity costs. The Alliance Connect products feature the introduction of an internet access channel for our low and medium volume users, new high performance VPN boxes, and the phase-out of the Dial technology.
The sooner you upgrade, the sooner you benefit from new features, lower connectivity costs and take advantage of the upgrade rebate.
You need to upgrade your network connectivity to one of the new Alliance Connect products before end of 2011. Customers using ISP-LL need to upgrade by end 2010.
This upgrade is mandatory because the VPN boxes in your current connectivity packs will no longer be supported.
As announced, SWIFTNet Link 7.0 does not support dial-up technology. If you use dial-up as your prime connectivity, you must therefore first upgrade your network connectivity to one of the Alliance Connect products before upgrading your SWIFTNet Link software to release 7.0. SWIFT recommends that Prime Dial customers choose Alliance Connect Bronze as a replacement option for their network connection.
