Setup of MA-CUG, Market Infrastructure or FINInform services

This page describe the steps to request SWIFT to create a Member Administered Closed User Group (MA-CUG), a Market Infrastructure or a FINInform service.

Always contact your SWIFT Implementation Manager.
Read the MA-CUG, the FINInform, the Securities or Banking Market Infrastructure service description from the UHB online (login required).

Step 1: Service application and approval

MA-CUG or Market Infrastructure: Service Approval Request (paper form)
- Return the duly signed form to your SWIFT Regional Commercial Administrator
- The SWIFT Board of Directors is notified of new applications on a weekly basis.

FINInform: SWIFTNet FINInform Service Approval Request (paper form)
- Return the duly signed form to your SWIFT Regional Commercial Administrator

Step 2: Service Administration Agreement

MA-CUG or Market Infrastructure: Service Administration Agreement (paper form)
FINInform: FINInform Service Administration Agreement (paper form).
- Return the duly signed form to your SWIFT Regional Commercial Administrator

Step 3: Define the service features in the Service Profile Form (SPF)

Complete one SPF for each SWIFTNet environment (ITB, pilot and live)
For FINInform, you must appoint up to 3 authorised persons to deal with SWIFT on any operational matters in connection with your service.
Return the duly signed form to your SWIFT Regional Commercial Administrator

Step 4 (optional): SCORE compliant label for MA-CUG
