Anand Bindumadhavan, Director, Products, Asia Pacific, SWIFT
Anand Bindumadhavan joined SWIFT’s regional office in Hong Kong in 2005 as a technical specialist working in the customer services dept, focusing on the top accounts. He moved to the Singapore office in 2007 focusing on pre-sales and products activities.
He has an Engineering & IT background having worked as a developer. Prior to joining SWIFT he worked in Hewlett Packard, developing system software in the OpenVMS environment focusing on the automated backup systems in a Storage Area Network.
Since joining SWIFT, Anand has worked on major projects, covering various areas such as SWIFTNet Phase 2, RMA migration, Integration via Alliance Access and Alliance Integrator, MERVA Migration etc.
His areas of expertise include Trade Services, Worker’s Remittances, Funds, IT Architecture, Resilience, Messaging, FileAct, Integration, Web Services etc. He is Indian.
John Chaplin, President, Ixaris Systems and Director, Anthemis Edge
John has been driving change card payment systems in Europe and globally for more than 20 years. As President of Ixaris Systems he is now leading the main European player in the fast developing open payments platform sector. As Director of Anthemis Edge he is providing advice to a range of payments organisations in multiple markets. In a successful career at Visa he held many senior positions in Europe including CIO and for 7 years was Executive Vice President in charge of the processing business. Subsequently he was a key figure in the international division of First Data Corporation with a focus on network and scheme activities.
He is a payments adviser to the European Commission and sits on the Board of Interswitch in Nigeria. He was recently the organiser of “Payments Innovation 2011 – the global jury decides” and is the author of many articles on payments innovation.
He holds a BSc in Economics, an MSc in Management and is Visiting Lecturer on the Westminster University MBA.
Ramkumar Chari, Chief Executive Officer, Network International
Ram currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Network International LLC, a leading card payments solutions provider in the MEA. He is on the Board of OBERNET, a Joint venture between Network International and Oberthur Technologies, one of the world leaders in the field of smart card technology. He also is the Managing Director of Network Processing Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Network International based in Egypt) with significant plans to expand into the burgeoning African Lavant and Middle East Markets.
A Qualified Management Professional, Ram in his previous assignment has worked with American Express, Carlson Wagonlit, Airfreight Ltd etc. and has worked in India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Middle East and has been exposed to Business’s operating in Asia Pacific, Middle East and the Latin American Region. Lee Cottle, President & Chief Operating Officer, VoiceVault
Lee leads VoiceVault’s Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Sales and Business strategy.
Lee joined VoiceVault from Vicorp Group where he was the Chief Operating Officer. Vicorp are a software company specialising in speech self-service solutions where he was responsible for the go-to-market strategy, sales and business development. Prior to this Lee was the Director & General Manager of Nuance’s UK, Ireland and South African regions.
Lee brings with him over 20 years experience of call centre enabling technology. He has been involved in the design, installation and support of over 200 call centres in both Europe and the US. He has worked for Nortel Networks, Unisys and Aspect Communications in a variety of senior business and technical roles.
Salil Dalal, Head of Sales, West & South, Nokia
Joined Nokia in August 2009 as Head, Retail Operations in the core team at Nokia, on the project Nokia Money. Involved in developing retail and channel policies, retailer propositions, point of sale material, training material, etc in the pilot phase.

Udayan Goyal, Founder and Managing Partner, Anthemis Group and Founder and Managing Director of FT Advisors
Based in London, Udayan has extensive transaction and domain experience within the payments arena with clients that include First Data, Western Union, Visa, MasterCard and Global Payments.
More recently, he has been focused on developing mobile payment propositions for emerging markets in particular, with work in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Udayan was formerly a Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Technology Advisory at Deutsche Bank AG in the Global Financial Institutions Group based out of London.
Prior to Deutsche, Udayan had specific responsibility for developing the pan-European specialty finance practice of Credit Suisse with a focus on financial technology. In this capacity he maintained relationships with payment processors, brokerage companies, inter-dealer brokers, hedge funds and stock exchanges globally.
Originally from India, Udayan has an MA (Cantab) from Trinity College, Cambridge in England.
Sam Ghiotti, Director, Anthemis Edge
Sam has 15 years of international experience in payments and banking.
She held several senior roles in both start ups and corporates where she focused on strategy, corporate and business development, sales and marketing, and change management.
She was Group Head of Mobile Banking at the Royal Bank of Scotland where she defined, developed, and commercialized the mobile banking channel across Retail, Corporate, and Commercial divisions.
Prior to this Sam held senior positions in business, product development and innovation at First Data and American Express.
Sam acts in an advisory role to GSMA on industry-wide initiatives such as PayBuyMobile and Rich Communication Suite.
Ravi Jagannathan, Managing Director & CEO, eMudhra Consumer Services Ltd
Mr. Ravi Jagannathan has been the Managing Director and CEO of eMudhra Consumer Services Ltd, since its inception in 2008. eMudhra is one of the Certifying Authorities to issue Digital Signature Certificates to Indian public. eMudhra has developed a patent pending solution for securing mobile communications and transactions using PKI concept.
Ravi has globe-trotted quite extensively and has participated in many Indian and international panel discussions and seminars. Mr. Jagannathan held several senior management level positions in India, USA and UK. His working experience includes executive positions in 3i Infotech, ICICI Infotech, UBICS Inc., in the fields of Management, Finance, Project Management, Technology Consulting and Business Development.
With a passion to provide a range of technology solutions to benefit the growing youth population Ravi Jagannathan ventured into Consumer Technology business and successfully launched number of solutions under eMudhra and Taxsmile brands.

Kartik Kaushik, Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development for Treasury & Trade Solutions, Citi
Kartik's role spans multiple integrated global businesses within Citi’s Global Transaction Services Group (GTS) including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Wholesale Card Services and Liquidity & Investments. Kartik leads a global team that identifies new profit pools, partnerships, acquisitions, divestitures and monetization of legacy platforms for the TTS business, particularly in highly developed economies and high-growth emerging markets.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Kartik Kaushik was the President & Partner of Polaris Software, a leading global financial technology company, delivering mission critical products and services to the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector. Kartik helped build business for Polaris first in Europe, living in London and then in Americas, before taking on the global role.
Kartik Kaushik has been associated with building new products, new markets & new business models throughout his career. He spent a decade in brand management, advertising, and marketing with consumer product giants like Unilever, where he was associated with some of the most innovative product campaigns and launches in the marketplace.
Kartik Kaushik holds a bachelor degree in Physics and MBA in marketing.
Sachin Khandelwal, Managing Director & CEO, ICICI Home Finance
Sachin Khandelwal, Senior General Manager, ICICI Bank currently heads the MD & CEO of Home Finance Company He has over eighteen years experience, a significant part of which has been with ICICI Bank in the Retail Finance segment. The Private banking operations cover Singapore, UK, South Africa and the Gulf markets, besides India. Additionally, he also heads the Global Remittances business, where ICICI Bank has considerable leadership, especially in the area of online remittance. Global Research function is also a part of this portfolio.
Sachin also heads the Mobile Commerce initiatives for the bank and has worked with the regulators and key industry associations to roll out the guidelines for Mobile banking and Prepaid Instruments in India. He is a member of World Economic Forum’s Global Forum for Mobile Financial Services. He continues to head the Prepaid International Forum (PIF)’s India Chapter. He is also actively involved with India’s first coalition loyalty program – Imint.
His prior assignments include heading the Vehicle lending business for ICICI Bank, and he is credited with setting up the entire business and consolidation of a dominant leadership position for the bank in this segment. His next assignment was with the Payments businesses and he was instrumental in scaling up the Cards and Merchant Acquiring businesses. Significant alliance and co-branding relationships were the key growth areas during his tenure. He was also an active member on some Indian, Regional and International Forums for Visa and MasterCard.
A mechanical engineer, Sachin did his MBA in marketing from Sydneham Institute, Mumbai and started his career with Godrej & Boyce for the Office Equipment business and subsequently moved on to Honda Cars when they started operations in India.
Gottfried Leibbrandt, Head of Marketing, SWIFT
Gottfried is currently Head of Marketing, which defines the value proposition for SWIFT's customer segments and includes standards as well as solutions. He is a member of the Executive Committee.
He joined SWIFT in 2005 and was previously Head of Standards.
Prior to joining SWIFT, he worked for McKinsey & Company for 18 years. He is Dutch.
Neal Livingston, Managing Director and Global Head of Client Access, Transaction Banking, Standard Chartered Bank
In this role, he manages a ~450 person team responsible for channel management (online, host-to-host, ERP and mobile connectivity), network management (partner banking, 3rd party alliances and commercial branch distribution), client on-boarding, integration and implementation, as well as relationship-driven service management for high value corporate and institutional clients. In addition, Neal is responsible for the bank’s mobile e-commerce strategy.
Prior to his current role, Neal served as Chief Operating Officer, Transaction Banking, focusing on operating strategy, risk and control.
Neal began his career in corporate banking with Norwest Bank and NationsBank in the U.S. before joining Arthur Andersen where he served as Firm Treasurer prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2006.
Neal was born and educated in South Africa. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his B.A. (Hons.) from Brighton University in England.
Neal is a member of the Wholesale Bank Top Team and Group Executive’s Forum at Standard Chartered. He is active on various industry forums including the SWIFT Corporate Advisory Group, and has published several articles on innovation and mobile banking.

Ben Lyon, Co-founder and Vice President of Business Development, Kopo Kopo, Inc.
Ben is founder of FrontlineSMS:Credit and co-founder of Kopo Kopo. Ben has extensive field experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and is a respected thought leader in mobile money. He is a 2010 Unreasonable Institute Fellow, 2010 Ashoka/Staples Youth Social Enterprise Award Winner and 2010 PopTech Fellow. He received a B.A. in Economics & International Studies from Rhodes College.
Dan Marovitz, Head of Product Management for Global Transaction Banking Chief Operating Officer, Technology for Global Banking, Deutsche Bank
Daniel Marovitz is the Head of Product Management for Deutsche Bank’s Global Transaction Banking business as well as COO for Technology for Deutsche Bank's Global Banking division. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the division’s technology banking practice. Daniel joined Deutsche Bank in 2000 as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the eGCI group at Deutsche Bank, charged with developing and implementing online products for Deutsche Bank’s investment and commercial bank.
Daniel joined Deutsche Bank from iVillage, the online Women’s Network and one of the 15 most trafficked sites on the Internet, where he was Vice President of Commerce from early 1999. Before iVillage, Mr. Marovitz worked for Gateway 2000 where he served as the head of Gateway.com- which sold the first PC over the Internet. Prior to this, Mr. Marovitz was on the founding team of Gateway’s Japanese subsidiary.
A frequent speaker on the subjects of the Internet, IT management, and outsourcing Mr. Marovitz has addressed audiences around the world. In 2001, he co-authored, Three Clicks Away: Advice from the Trenches of eCommerce, published by John Wiley. Daniel Marovitz graduated from Cornell University in 1994.
Aditya Menon, Executive Vice President, Global Alliances, Obopay
Aditya Menon, is responsible for driving strategic alliances with financial services and telecommunication partners and other mobile money ecosystem players. Aditya is based out of Bangalore and has been with Obopay since Jan 2007 playing a lead role in starting Obopay’s operations outside of the US.
Prior to joining Obopay Aditya was CIO at Yes Bank where his responsibilities included driving innovation and developing strategic planning guidelines in accordance with the business strategy of the Bank. He drove the IT strategy to make YES Bank’s technology to be game changing in the Indian market with various initiatives such as Internet two factor authentication, mobile alerts, branch in a box, total outsourcing, wireless innovation in branches and Micro-Finance. Prior to joining Yes Bank, Aditya was Group CIO at MphasiS. Aditya has been a professional entrepreneur for 14 of his 25 working years in the field of banking software product development and organization building, specifically in the transaction banking space of payments and cash management. He has been a pioneer in the field of electronic payments and banking launching the first PC based high value payments systems in 1986 for global banks like ABN AMRO and subsequently for Standard Chartered Bank. Regional Banks such as OCBC Bank and DBS Bank in Singapore currently use corporate internet banking and high volume cash management platforms architected by him at his own company.
Aditya Menon, received his Bachelors degree in Economics and Statistics from St Xaviers, Mumbai, and Masters degree from Pace University, New York. He serves on the Internet and Mobile Association of India on the Payments Committee as well the Mobile Payments Forum of India where he has been instrumental in developing regulation for mobile payments and prepaid instruments in India. He also interacts with regulators around the world on mobile payment and prepaid regulations.
Venessa Miemis, Social Technologies Researcher (http://emergentbydesign.com/about/)
Free agent, Master in Media Studies at the New School, NYC, futurist and digital ethnographer, researching the impacts of social technologies on society and culture and designing systems to facilitate innovation and the evolution of consciousness. Venessa will update us on The Future of Money project (world premiere at Sibos 2010) and The Future of Facebook, a new research project sponsored by Innotribe as Corporate Patron.
Solomon Prakash, India Country Director, Ashoka
Solomon JP has an engineering background and began his career in the electro-chemical processing industries. He later worked in Europe for an international youth exchange organization. Back in India in 1989, Solomon founded MAYA with a focus on children’s rights and the eradication of child labor. They work with the state government of Karnataka to recruit parents and communities across slums and villages to take ownership of public schools. In 1992, he developed a youth-at-risk training workshop for those living on the streets of Bangalore, a program adopted later by many other organizations. In 1996, Solomon created a common platform for numerous children’s rights groups to come together and campaign against child labor. MAYA also developed an education reform program, which operates in several thousands of schools in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. In 2004, Solomon spun-off MAYA ORGANIC, a network of collective enterprises run by the working poor, which produce competitive, market quality products. MAYA Organic facilitates each business’ engagement with the mainstream market, enabling it to negotiate, make a profit, and thereby benefit the whole group. In 2005, Solomon founded LabourNet, meant to create and enhance job opportunities for the informal sector service workers in urban areas. LabourNet connects jobs and workers, improves work systems at job sites, encourages skill development, and provides access to social security. He was elected as an Ashoka fellow in 2006.
In February 2010, Solomon JP joined the Ashoka team as the new Country Director in India.

Mrs Rai is a Senior Vice President with HSBC and heads product management for the Global Payments and Cash Management business in India.
She is a Post Graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedebad and Bachelor of Engineering from Engineering College Guindy, Chennai. She has accumulated valuable experience over 15 years in the banking industry, as a consultant and as an entrepreneur.
Samarendra Raiguru, Head of Industry Solution, Financial Services, IBM India Software Lab
Samarendra Raiguru is the Head of Industry Solution, Financial Services, IBM India Software Lab. He leads solution development on Industry products and assets of IBM which are specifically relevant for Financial Industry. He drives development based on industry trends and needs, customer feedback and also out of key customer engagements world wide.
He comes with over 20 years of experience of which 10 years have been in financial industry as a practitioner. He is an financial industry architect and SME and his personal technical strengths areas have been data ware housing, business intelligence and analytics. He has wide experience in consulting, pre-sales, product engineering and design of large DW implementations both in India and abroad. His current activities are in the area of Core Banking Transformation, Fraud Management, Mobility and Analytics. He has led development of key assets and innovation in the space of mobility in banking and has been instrumental in driving IBM point of view on mobility.
Dr. Gaurav Raina, Mobile Payment Forum in India (MPFI)
Gaurav is currently in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Madras. His research interests are in the design and control of communication networks. He is a member of the Mobile Payment Forum of India (MPFI) technical committee on Interoperability, Security and Voice Banking for Mobile Payments in India. Gaurav holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, where is also a visiting research fellow.
Wim Raymaekers, Head of Banking Market, SWIFT
Wim Raymaekers manages SWIFT’s banking market worldwide, and is responsible to define the evolution of its core banking value proposition in view of changing customer requirements and industry business models. His mission is to help banks grow their business, achieve operational efficiency and reduce costs, and improve their liquidity risk management. His responsibility also includes identifying new trends in correspondent banking e.g. person-to-person international money transfers, mobile payments, RMB internationalisation, and assist banks in embracing these in their strategic product offering. Wim moved into his current role in July 2009. He is based at SWIFT’s headquarters in La Hulpe, Belgium.
Prior to joining SWIFT, Wim has worked at Fortis (now BNP Paribas) and the accounting department of a high tech company. Previous positions at SWIFT include senior management roles in corporate cash management, connectivity channels and e-commerce.
Wim has a university degree in Commerce and a post-graduate master degree in Information Technology. In addition to English he is fluent in Dutch, French and German.
Matteo Rizzi, Innovation Manager, SWIFT
Matteo Rizzi was appointed Innovation Manager in 2009. He is part of the team that launched Innotribe, positioning SWIFT as the facilitator of collaborative innovation in the financial industry. He is further responsible for the establishment of a co-investment programme and a number of proofs of concept.
Matteo joined SWIFT in 2003, where he worked in Sales and Account Management. At Sibos 2007 Boston, he launched swiftcommunity.net, the collaborative space for SWIFT’s financial eco-system.
Prior to joining SWIFT, Matteo spent 10 years in the IT-networking sales industry. In 2003, he founded one of the first social networks: italiansonline.net, which is the world’s largest Italian expatriate portal today. Matteo is Italian.
Gerhard W. Romen, Director Mobile Financial Services, Nokia
Gerhard W. Romen contributes years of in-depth experiences with solutions and services within the mobile and IT industry. Since joining Nokia in 1999 he has focused on new business solutions, driving, incubating and bringing to market mobile solutions, such as Nokia´s early stage mobile banking platform in 1999, its email offering in 2001 and Nokia s NFC-based offerings from 2004 onwards. He has been serving on the NFC Forum s Board of Directors and as a Vice Chairman of the NFC Forum for nearly 5 years as well as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Mobey Forum. Since 2008 Gerhard is Director of Nokia's Mobile Financial Services, with the Nokia Money initiative as its main focus, encompassing all aspects of mobile payments.
Before joining Nokia, Gerhard worked as a Vice-President EMEA with Borland International, a manufacturer of software development tools. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions with client/server and database specialist Sybase, with Soft Switch Inc., a software vendor for Email and EDI switching and with DOS Software, an application service provider.
Satapathy has over 33 years of banking experience with Union Bank of India which is the 5th largest public sector bank in India. He has held senior positions in retail banking, financial inclusion, priority sector lending and various management roles both at corporate and field levels. His experience spans across 11 states in India.
Jennifer L. Schenker, Founder and editor-in-chief of informilo.com
Jennifer L. Schenker has been a journalist for 30 years, working for daily newspapers in the U.S. owned by the Gannett, Knight-Ridder and Tribune newspaper chains, including the Miami Herald. She has been covering the global technology sector since 1985 from Paris. At The Wall Street Journal Europe, she covered breaking technology news and worked as the assistant managing editor of Convergence, the Journal's quarterly technology magazine. In 1999, she took on the job of senior writer/technology for Time magazine in Europe and was editor of Time Digital Europe, a quarterly technology report. She is also a former technology writer for the International Herald Tribune, and from October, 2004, to April, 2007, was the international editor of Red Herring magazine, managing a team of journalists in Europe, Israel, China and India. She left her most recent job as European technology correspondent for BusinessWeek at the end of 2008 to create Informilo, an online magazine about the global technology sector.
Nicholas See, Chief Executive Officer, NCore Systems
Nicholas is the CEO of NCore Systems, a technology provider specialising in automated remittance processing platforms. At NCore, Nicholas has established clients and business partners in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and the UAE. He is also responsible for growing the NCore remittance relationship network.
Over the past 18 years, Nicholas has been involved in the design and architecture of mission critical enterprise banking applications. His principal interest in systems architecture include software patterns, service oriented architectures, emerging delivery channels, software agent technology, mobile and multi-factor security devices.
Prior to NCore Systems, Nicholas was at Accenture (then known as Andersen Consulting). During his tenure with the Firm, he was involved in the implementation of trade finance systems and corporate cash terminals.
Suresh Sethi, Group President - Transaction Banking, YES Bank
Suresh Sethi is the Group President – Transaction Banking Group at YES Bank Ltd. Transaction Banking is a CORE Product Group within the Bank catering to all business segments – Wholesale, Commercial & Retail. Product verticals include Cash Management, Trade Finance & Services, Capital Markets & Escrow Services and Direct Banking representing all alternate banking channels viz. Cards (Credit/ Debit/ Prepaid); ATMs; Internet banking & Mobile Banking. Suresh is responsible for laying out the Payments strategy for the bank and driving the Innovation Channel. He is a member of the Bank’s Executive Management Committee and the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
Suresh has broad international experience of over 20 years in the Financial Services industry across the gamut of Transaction Banking streams with Payments & Settlements experience across 56 countries in US, Latin America, Europe, Africa & India.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Suresh spent over 14 years with Citibank N.A. - including 7 years in various senior management positions across U.S.A., Europe and Africa. At his last assignment at Citibank, he managed the Cash Management business for the entire Latin America region covering 22 countries based out of Citibank, Miami.
He has been recognized by the ASIAN BANKER for contributions to the Financial Services Industry and is tracked in the Register of THE ASIAN BANKER’s - "LIST OF LEADING PRACTITIONERS".
An alumnus of FMS Delhi, Mr. Sethi also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics) from Punjab University.

Kathleen, a Payments Solution Executive in IBM’s Financial Services Center of Excellence, works with banking clients and software vendors to provide payment solutions that leverage their capabilities and strategies.
With over 30 years of experience in the Banking Industry, Kathleen provides consulting expertise/advise in financial transaction (payments) solutions, policies and processes; bank deposit operations processes, policies and strategy; in addition, she leverages her background in corporate cash management to assist businesses with their strategy and operations.
Her projects have included mobile payments; payment solution strategy and implementation for retail and wholesale applications, workflow improvement; new product/solution development; business case development and analysis; merger integration; integration of financial transactions into the e-business supply chain; outsourcing evaluation and implementation; and process benchmarking.
Nik Stanbridge, Director of Product Marketing, VoiceVault
Nik joined Biometric Security in 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of Product Management and Marketing at VoiceVault. He is an experienced Product Manager with over 20 years experience of global B2B and B2C market sectors.
Prior to Biometric Security, Nik held a variety of Product Management roles in technology companies including PDF aggregation software for regularity submissions in the pharmaceutical industry; software for PDF document creation, manipulation and conversion; and industrial inkjet print heads and ink systems.
Peter Vander Auwera, Innovation Leader, SWIFT
Peter Vanderauwera was appointed Innovation Leader in 2007. As a member of the Innovation team, he is content curator for the Innotribe events such as Innotribe at Sibos and Innotribe Mumbai. He is responsible for various innovation proofs of concept and for the Digital Identity Incubation project. Peter joined SWIFT in 2005. He was previously Head of Interfaces.
Prior to SWIFT, Peter was at Microsoft as EAI Solution Sales and Business Development Manager for Microsoft’s Electronic Identity Card plans in Belgium. Consequently, in 2005, Peter received the Microsoft Chairman’s Award. Throughout his career, he has won several innovation- and going-beyond awards. Peter is Belgian and proud father of a 5 year old daughter.

Ninan Vargis, Head – Banking Relation, Nokia
Ninan heads banking relationship in the recently set up unit for Nokia’s foray into the mobile payments space. His responsibilities in this role include business development, program creation, maintaining relationship with banks and other entities. Prior to joining Nokia, Ninan held senior management position at US-based start up Obopay where he was responsible for business development and creating mobile prepaid payment program for banks; and at Tata Capital in Risk Management. Earlier, he worked for 25 years at State Bank of India, the largest player in the banking industry in India, commanding 25% market share where his achievements include spearheading the creation of the ATM Network (around 25,000 ATMs) and being a key mover of the Debit Card Program that has over 100 Million Cards.
Ninan received a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Loyola College in Chennai and an MBA from the University of Madras. He is a certified associate from the Indian Institute of Bankers and CISA Certified.
VS Venkataraman, Head – Mobile Solutions and CA Operations, eMudhra Consumer Services Ltd
Venkat has around 15 years of cross functional experience in the areas of IT Services, Finance and Management Consulting. He has handled multiple roles including including client account management, Risk Management, BPR Consulting and Treasury Management both in the US and India.
Currently as Head of CA operations and Mobile Solutions at eMudhra Venkat's primary responsibilities include implementation of new business lines in the mobile space and overseeing the Certifying Authority operations at eMudhra.
David G. Yates, Executive Vice President, President, Business Development & Innovation Western Union
As Executive Vice President and President of Business Development and Innovation, David Yates is responsible for electronic and new customer segments, both in the consumer and business markets. This includes westernunion.com, account-based money transfer, mobile money transfer and business-to-business payments. In addition, Yates leads Western Union’s prepaid and stored-value programs around the world.
Yates joined Western Union in August 2010 from First Data Corporation, where he most recently served as executive vice president and president of First Data’s International Division. In this role, he was responsible for building and operating all of First Data’s international business. Prior to that role, Yates served as president of First Data’s Europe, Middle East and Africa division.
Yates has extensive payment systems, banking and information systems experience involving major projects for processors, banks and telecommunications companies throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining First Data, he served in executive roles with several major international corporations, including IBM, General Electric and American Management Systems.
An Irish and British citizen, he is fluent in German, English and French. Yates received a master’s degree in law from Oxford University.
