Defining the next generation of financial services

The number of trends impacting the financial industry is proliferating. They include social networks, innovation, consolidation, emerging markets and regulation. This means there is quite a lot for the SWIFT members to discuss and debate regarding how we should be defining the “next generation” of financial services. We believe that SOFA is an ideal place for that dialogue to occur.

In the plenary sessions we will hear different perspectives on the impact of current trends and technology on the financial industry.

We will also provide an update on our strategy, SWIFT2015, and how it can support you by lowering your costs and making the different industry networks, infrastructures and standards interoperable.

As a complement to the plenary discussions, we will feature a series of work sessions covering a range of SWIFT’s products and services: how to prepare for Release 7.0; the Alliance portfolio; implementing Standards; Integrator; Business Intelligence and much more. We will also have a SWIFT showcase and an exhibition area featuring the latest offerings from the SWIFT vendor community. Making its SOFA debut, we will be dedicating the afternoon of March 9 to deliver special interest sessions providing attendees a far deeper dive into specific topics that cannot be adequately addressed in a Work Session.
