Welcome to SWIFT Business Forum – Canada 2010.

We have an exciting program planned for this year’s event including the opportunity to celebrate Canada winning the gold, not only in the Olympics, but in the financial market as well. We will explore what this success implies for the players in the market and what their next steps are: Is now the time…for change? To explore growth opportunities? To invest in new technology?

Setting the stage we will examine the ways in which Canada successfully preserved their financial resources amidst the impact of the crisis. Following this special interest session we will hear from an array of leading experts who will explore what additional opportunities exist for the region.

Complementing the plenary discussion, the Canadian Business Forum will feature a series of Work Sessions covering SWIFT offerings related to banking and securities initiatives, such as payment trends, workers’ remittances and business drivers for Corporates and Banks working together. We will also have the SWIFT demo zone where you can speak to SWIFT experts to discuss eTraining, Alliance Lite and the Alliance Access 7.0 release.
