We realise that SWIFT plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of its clients, so it is critical that we ensure that security, technical infrastructure and operational objectives are met at all times. SWIFT’s commitment to providing solutions which meet our clients’ security requirements remains the lynch pin to our offering. As part of this commitment we are pleased to announce that SWIFT has completed its eleventh independent security review and has received an unqualified opinion from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), covering the 2014 calendar year.
The report is the result of an independent examination of the internal control policies, procedures, and controls supporting the SWIFTNet and FIN messaging services.
The report is classified as ‘RESTRICTED’ and we are restricting distribution to named officials at user organisations with a reasonable stated purpose to receive the report. Organisations evaluating the use of SWIFT products and services and not yet SWIFT customers, can also obtain a copy, but only after completing and signing a non-disclosure agreement.
Please note that the electronic copy is password protected, has the name of the recipient on each page and printing or copying is not allowed.
The 2014 report will be available as of the first working day in Belgium following May 1st, 2015. Requests are typically reviewed and responded to once a week, on Friday.
Questions about the report can be sent to ISAE_3402@swift.com.
