Alliance Connect: Time to upgrade

The Alliance Connect product suite offers choice to meet your needs

In April 2009 we launched Alliance Connect Bronze, Silver and Gold. At that time, we informed you that the current connectivity packs will be coming to an end of life and that you would have to upgrade to the Alliance Connect products.

These new network connectivity products improve the service we provide to you while at the same time lowering your connectivity costs. The new products feature the introduction of an internet access channel for our low and medium volume users, new high performance VPN boxes, and the phase-out of the obsolete Dial technology.

Since the launch of the three Alliance Connect products, over 600 orders have been placed. Customers have expressed their satisfaction both in terms of the new functionality available as well as the ease of the upgrade.   

Vadym Zelenskiy, Head of SWIFT Department at Ukrsotsbank in Ukraine, says, "Upgrading our Dual-I to Alliance Connect Silver was ideal for us since the dial-up backup link is now replaced by a more efficient internet connection and at the same time, our connectivity costs are reduced." Zelenskiy goes on to say, "The upgrade itself was easy. We performed the installation of the VPN boxes ourselves and we transferred our SWIFTNet Links to the new connectivity quite smoothly." 

October: start of the upgrade campaign

October 1^st marked the beginning of the upgrade campaign. You need to upgrade your network connectivity to one of the new Alliance Connect products before end of 2011.  This upgrade is mandatory, as the VPN boxes in your current connectivity packs are coming to their end of life.
