The SWIFT Board of Directors delegates the day-to-day management of the Company to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO chairs an Executive Committee formed by the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Head of Marketing, the Heads of the three Regions and the Head of Stakeholder Relations.
The Head of Human Resources, the General Counsel and the Chief Auditor report directly to the CEO and are represented by the CEO on the Executive Committee.

Chris Church joined SWIFT in August 2008 from BT Global Financial Services where he had been Managing Director of Radianz Services since 2006. Gottfried Leibbrandt is currently Head of Marketing, the group that defines the value proposition for SWIFT's customer segments and includes Standards as well as Solutions. Rich O’Brien joined SWIFT in 2004 as Chief Auditor from Citigroup where was Audit’s Global Liaison for Regulatory and Compliance since 2000. He has also held Chief Auditor positions in North America with Barclays Group, Deutsche Bank and Credit Lyonnais (now Calyon); as well as an advisory position with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Marcel Bronmans was appointed Head of Human Resources in January 2010. In addition to this position, he is also the Head of Lean @ SWIFT. Based in Belgium, Marcel is responsible for all Human Resources functions as well as the roll out of Lean management across the entire organisation.
